Hon Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 aspirant for the Oluyole Federal Constituency, has congratulated Oloye Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin on his elevation to the prestigious title of Agbaakin Olubadan of Ibadanland by His Imperial Majesty Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa 1.

In a statement issued today, November 21, 2025, the Mogaji of Ile Laato ni Labo, described Senator Folarin’s elevation as a well-deserved honour that reflects his stature, commitment to public service, and deep-rooted connection to Ibadan’s traditional institution.

He commended the Olubadan for recognizing Senator Folarin’s contributions to the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State, noting that the new Agbaakin has consistently demonstrated loyalty to the cultural heritage of the city and dedication to the welfare of its people.

According to Hon Gbolagade, Senator Folarin’s political experience and longstanding service at both state and national levels make him a fitting figure for such a revered traditional title.
