76TH POSTHUMOUS BIRTHDAY: AWA Celebrates Birthday of Late Gov Abiola Ajimobi, Salutes His Enduring Legacy
Alhaji Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), seasoned administrator and 2027 Oyo Central Senatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, has joined family members, political associates and admirers to commemorate the 76th posthumous birthday of the former Gov. of Oyo State, Sen Abiola Ajimobi, describing him as a father, mentor and a quintessential leader who understood leadership and lived it with purpose, both in governance and in politics.

Reflecting on the life of the late governor, AWA said his leadership style left an indelible mark on Oyo State and the nation at large.

“Senator Abiola Ajimobi was a leader who understood responsibility and carried it with courage. He did not only speak about leadership, he lived it daily, making tough decisions with the interest of the people at heart.”

He also paid tribute to the matriarch of the Ajimobi family, Her Excellency, Dr Mrs Florence Ajimobi, commending her strength and dedication to preserving her husband’s legacy.
“Her Excellency has carried this legacy with dignity and grace. Through her service and consistency, she has ensured that the ideals of the late governor remain alive and relevant.”
AWA prayed for the peaceful repose of the soul of Sen. Abiola Ajimobi and reaffirmed that his life and service will continue to inspire generations within and beyond Oyo State.
