Hon. Mustapha Olanrewaju Salaudeen, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo State and a 2027 aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency I, has expressed deep condolences to the family of Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru, the Sarkin Hausawan Ibadan, following his demise.

In a condolence message made available to the media, Hon. Salaudeen commiserated with the entire Arewa community in Ibadan and across Oyo State, describing the late Sarkin Hausawan as an exemplary and detribalised leader whose life was devoted to unity, peace, and communal progress.

He noted that Alhaji Zungeru played a significant role in fostering harmony between communities, earning respect beyond ethnic and cultural boundaries through his leadership style and personal conduct.

“The passing of Alhaji Ali Ɗahiru Zungeru is a great loss, not only to the Arewa community but to Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole. He was a man who believed strongly in peaceful coexistence and worked tirelessly for the unity and progress of our society.”

“His leadership was guided by wisdom, patience, and a deep understanding of the importance of unity in a diverse society. He leaves behind a legacy of service and mutual respect that will not be forgotten.”

“I pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, accepts his good deeds, and grants him Aljannah Firdaus. May Allah also grant his family, the Arewa community, and all who mourn him the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss.”
