Mogaji Gbolagade Congratulates Olubadan on Emergence as Chairman, Oyo Council of Obas

Mogaji Abiodun Gbolagade, the Mogaji of Ile Lato, Okelabo, Ibadan, has congratulated the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his emergence as the Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, describing the development as a historic milestone for Ibadanland.

In a congratulatory message, Mogaji Gbolagade described Kabiyesi’s emergence as a well deserved recognition of the stature of the Olubadan stool and its enduring relevance in the traditional and cultural leadership of Oyo State.


“This development is a historic milestone for Ibadanland and a clear reflection of the enduring prestige, experience, and leadership stature of the Olubadan stool. Kabiyesi’s emergence as Chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs is a source of pride to the entire Ibadan community.”

According to him, the Olubadan of Ibadanland brings a wealth of experience, maturity, and wisdom to the position, qualities that are critical for the effective coordination of traditional institutions across the state.

“Kabiyesi is widely respected for his calm disposition, deep understanding of governance, and commitment to peace and unity. I am confident that his leadership will strengthen cooperation among traditional rulers and further enhance the role of the Council in promoting harmony and development in Oyo State.”
