Ramadan, Lent: Salaudeen Emphasises Collective Prayer for Stable Society
Hon. Mustapha Olanrewaju Salaudeen, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State and a 2027 aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency I, has extended warm greetings to Muslims and Christians in Ibadan North Federal Constituency and beyond as they commence the sacred periods of Ramadan and Lent.

In a message made available to the media, he congratulated adherents of both faiths for witnessing the spiritually significant seasons, describing the periods as opportunities for reflection, discipline, and renewed devotion.


He urged believers to use the solemn moments for prayers for peace, prosperity, and responsible leadership at all levels of society, noting that spiritual commitment and moral reflection remain vital in shaping a stable and progressive nation.
“Ramadan and Lent are sacred periods that call for deep reflection, sacrifice, and compassion. They remind us of the importance of humility, patience, and responsibility to one another as members of one society.”

“I encourage Muslims and Christians to use these seasons to pray for peace in our communities, for prosperity in our land, and for wisdom and accountability in leadership. Collective prayers and sincere devotion remain essential in building a stable and progressive society.”
He wished all faithful a spiritually fulfilling observance and prayed that the lessons of sacrifice, unity, and compassion drawn from the holy seasons would strengthen harmony and shared responsibility across Nigeria.
