Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has congratulated Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Fatima Florence Ajimobi, on her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

‎In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Arisekola Alao described the appointment as a well deserved recognition of  Chief (Mrs.) Ajimobi’s experience, character, and longstanding contributions to public life.

‎According to him, the nomination and subsequent posting of the former First Lady of Oyo State to represent Nigeria in Austria is a development that reflects the confidence reposed in her capacity to serve the nation with dignity and responsibility.

‎“Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi has consistently demonstrated grace, strength of character, and a deep commitment to service. Her appointment to represent Nigeria in Austria is not only a recognition of her personal qualities but also a testament to the values she has upheld over the years.”

‎Arisekola Alao noted that beyond her public roles,  Dr. (Mrs.) Ajimobi has remained a respected matriarch whose influence continues to inspire many, particularly within Oyo State and the wider progressive family.

‎“I extend my warm congratulations to Her Excellency on this important national assignment. I am confident that she will carry out this responsibility with wisdom, dignity, and a clear sense of duty to our country.”

‎He further prayed for success in her diplomatic assignment, expressing hope that her tenure would strengthen Nigeria’s relations with Austria and contribute positively to the nation’s international engagements.
