A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ibadan North and an aspirant for the Oyo State House of Assembly, Ibadan North Constituency II, Hon Abolaji Abayomi has congratulated the matriarch, Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, on her appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria.

‎President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently approved the posting of 65 ambassadors-designate to Nigeria’s diplomatic missions across the world, among whom is Chief (Mrs) Fatima Florence Ajimobi, who has been assigned to represent Nigeria in Austria.

‎In a congratulatory message, Hon  Abayomi described the appointment as a well deserved recognition of her longstanding commitment to public service, leadership, and dedication to the progress of the nation.

‎He noted that the appointment of the respected matriarch reflects confidence in her experience and capacity to effectively represent Nigeria’s interests on the global stage.

‎“Her Excellency, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi has remained a dignified figure whose contributions to society and commitment to service continue to inspire many. Her new diplomatic responsibility is not only a personal honour but also a moment of pride for the people of Ibadan North and Oyo State.”

Hon. Abayomi also expressed confidence that her tenure would strengthen diplomatic relations and advance Nigeria’s engagements with the international community.

He prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the former First Lady of Oyo State as she prepares to undertake the national assignment.
