AWA Congratulates Newly Sworn-In APC Chairmen and LGA Executives Across Oyo State, Emphasises People-Centred Leadership
2027 Oyo Central Senatorial Aspirant Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli Charges New Party Executives to Prioritise People-Centred Leadership
Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), a seasoned administrator, accomplished technocrat, and prominent aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections, has extended warm congratulations to the newly sworn-in APC Chairmen and Local Government Area (LGA) executives across Oyo State, with special commendation to the new executives of the local government areas that make up the Oyo Central Senatorial District.

In a comprehensive goodwill message, Dr. Alli described the inauguration of the new APC executives across Oyo State as a watershed moment in the history of the party, noting that the emergence of vibrant and capable leadership at the local government level is critical to the sustained growth, electoral dominance, and organisational strength of the APC in Oyo State.

The Oyo Central Senatorial District comprises the local government areas of Afijio, Akinyele, Atiba, Egbeda, Lagelu, Ogo Oluwa, Oluyole, Ona Ara, Oyo East, Oyo West, and Surulere, all of which are central to Dr. Alli’s senatorial aspiration. He particularly saluted the new chairmen and executives sworn in across these councils, urging them to hit the ground running in service to their people and the party.
“I congratulate, from the depths of my heart, every newly sworn-in APC Chairman and executive across our great state of Oyo. Your emergence is not just a personal achievement, it is a mandate handed to you by your party and your people. I urge you to wear this responsibility with honour and serve with absolute dedication.”

Dr. Alli, who has built a sterling reputation over decades of distinguished service in public administration and community development, expressed particular pride in the swearing-in of the new party executives across the Oyo Central Senatorial District. He described the region as the political heartbeat of Oyo State and noted that strong party structures at the local government level are the bedrock of any meaningful electoral and developmental agenda.
“To our new chairmen and executives across the Oyo Central Senatorial District, in Afijio, Atiba, Oyo East, Oyo West, Iseyin, Iwajowa, Kajola, Itesiwaju, Oorelope, Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire, Surulere, and Ogo Oluwa, I say this: the people are watching, and history will judge us by how faithfully we serve. Let us build a party that is inclusive, responsive, and truly progressive at every ward level.”
The 2027 senatorial hopeful further stressed the importance of grassroots mobilisation, member welfare, and inter-ward cohesion, noting that the strength of the APC at the national and state levels is ultimately determined by the vitality of its structures at the local government and ward levels. He called on all newly inaugurated executives to prioritise reconciliation, carry all members along, and shut the door against divisive tendencies that could weaken the party.
“The APC must be a party where every member feels valued, from the most prominent stakeholder to the humblest ward volunteer. I charge our new executives to open their doors to all, to resolve grievances with wisdom and fairness, and to build the kind of formidable party structures that will deliver resounding victories for the APC in 2027 and beyond.”
AWA equally commended the leadership of the APC in Oyo State for conducting a transparent and credible process that produced the new executive leadership across the local government areas. He expressed confidence that the party, under the renewed energy of its new executives, would consolidate its hold on Oyo State and deepen its connection with the grassroots ahead of the 2027 general elections.
“I also use this opportunity to reaffirm my unwavering commitment to the APC and to the people of the Oyo Central Senatorial District. My aspiration to represent our people in the Senate is rooted in a sincere desire to bring development, quality legislation, and a powerful voice for our communities to the National Assembly. Together, with our new party executives, we will work towards a prosperous Oyo Central.”
