AWA Felicitates Muslim Ummah on Eid-el-Fitr, Urges Unity and Selflessness
Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), a seasoned administrator, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, and a 2027 senatorial aspirant for Oyo Central, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a goodwill message released to mark the occasion, Dr. Alli commended Muslim faithful for their devotion, discipline, and commitment to the spiritual exercise of fasting, prayers, and acts of charity throughout the Ramadan period.

He reminded adherents of Islam that the essence of Ramadan goes beyond abstinence from food and drink, but embodies the enduring virtues of sacrifice, humility, and total submission to the will of Almighty God.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, I encourage everyone to reflect on the values of love, charity, and selflessness which Ramadan has taught us. These virtues are essential in fostering harmony and strengthening our bonds as a people.”

Dr. Alli further urged residents of Oyo Central Senatorial District and beyond to embrace unity and peaceful coexistence, noting that collective efforts are required to achieve sustainable development and progress.
He emphasized that the lessons of Ramadan should continue to guide personal conduct and community relations, even after the fasting period, adding that a society built on compassion and mutual respect would thrive in all aspects.
While wishing the Muslim Ummah a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, Dr. Alli called on all citizens to remain committed to building a more united, peaceful, and prosperous Oyo Central Senatorial District and Oyo State at large.
