‎Eid-el-Fitr: Hon Ikumogunniyi Asukuna Commends Faithful, Calls for Unity, Compassion, and Community Development

Hon. Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan South West and Ibadan North West Federal Constituency, has congratulated the Muslim community on the successful completion of Ramadan and the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.

‎In a statement, Hon. Asukuna described the end of Ramadan as a moment of joy, reflection, and renewed spiritual strength for Muslim faithful, commending their dedication to fasting, prayers, and acts of charity throughout the holy month.


‎He noted that the discipline, sacrifice, and compassion demonstrated during Ramadan remain essential values for building a peaceful and progressive society, urging adherents not to confine these virtues to the period alone but to sustain them in their daily lives.

‎“Ramadan has once again reminded us of the importance of selflessness, patience, and devotion to God and humanity. I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to uphold these noble virtues and channel them toward the collective advancement of our communities and Oyo State at large.”

The APC chieftain further emphasized the need for unity, mutual respect, and continued prayers for the peace, stability, and development of the state and the nation, stressing that collective responsibility remains key to sustainable progress and wishes the Muslim Ummah a joyful and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring renewed hope, prosperity, and harmony to families, communities, and the nation at large.
