Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and a 2027 gubernatorial aspirant in Oyo State, has expressed his profound condolences to the progressive family in the state following the passing of Pa Sunday Adejare Elegbede, a respected progressive leader from Afijio Local Government Area.

In a statement, Barr Akeem Agbaje described the late Elegbede as a committed party man whose life was defined by loyalty, discipline, and unwavering dedication to the ideals of progressive politics.

He noted that Pa Elegbede’s demise represents a significant loss not only to his immediate family and the people of Afijio Local Government, but also to the broader progressive movement across Oyo State, where he contributed meaningfully to party growth and grassroots mobilisation.
