Gbolagade Clears APC Screening, Intensifies Push Ahead of Oluyole Direct Primary
Hon. Abiodun Gbolagade, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and 2027 aspirant for the Oluyole Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, has successfully scaled through the screening exercise conducted by the party in Abuja ahead of the forthcoming direct primary election.

The screening exercise, held as part of the APC’s preparations for the 2027 general election, was aimed at verifying the credentials and eligibility of aspirants seeking to contest under the platform of the ruling party.


Speaking after the exercise, the Mogaji Olubadan of Oke Labo, Lato Compound, described the process as thorough, transparent, and consistent with the democratic principles of the APC.
Hon. Gbolagade expressed satisfaction with the successful outcome of the screening and declared that his attention is now fully focused on intensifying grassroots consultations and mobilization efforts across Oluyole Federal Constituency ahead of the direct primary election.

According to him, the successful screening marks another important step in the journey toward offering purposeful and inclusive representation to the people of the constituency.
“With this successful screening, the path toward the direct primary election is now clearly opened. We are moving into the next phase with renewed strength, wider consultations, and greater determination to connect with our delegates, party leaders, and members across every ward in Oluyole Federal Constituency.”
He reaffirmed his commitment to people-centred leadership and pledged to continue building bridges across communities while advancing the collective interest of the constituency.
Hon. Gbolagade further assured party faithful that his aspiration remains rooted in service, inclusiveness, and the desire to attract more meaningful dividends of democracy to the constituency.
