Mothers’ Day: Arisekola Alao Celebrates Women for Their Role in Building Families and Society

Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, 2027 Ibadan North Federal Constituency hopeful and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has extended heartfelt greetings to mothers across Oyo State and Nigeria on the occasion of Mother’s Day, describing them as the foundation of families and the moral strength of society.

‎In a statement, Arisekola Alao acknowledged the sacrifices, resilience, and unwavering commitment of mothers in nurturing families, shaping values, and contributing to the growth and stability of communities.

‎He noted that mothers continue to play indispensable roles not only in the home but also in leadership, education, business, and community development, often making silent sacrifices for the progress and well-being of others.

“Mothers remain the backbone of every society. Their love, strength, prayers, and sacrifices are invaluable, and their impact continues to shape responsible families and a better society.

The APC chieftain further urged society to continue to appreciate, honour, and support mothers, stressing the need to create an environment where women and mothers can thrive and contribute meaningfully to national development.

‎“I celebrate all mothers today for their enduring care, patience, and commitment to humanity. I pray that Almighty God grants them good health, peace, strength, and abundant joy for all they do for their families and society.”
