Eid-el-Kabir: Asukuna Calls for Faith, Obedience, and Compassion
Hon. Ikumogunniyi Biodun Asukuna, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and 2027 House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North West and Ibadan South West Federal Constituency, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

In his goodwill message, the Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria described Eid-el-Kabir as a profound reminder of sacrifice, obedience, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, as exemplified in the story of Prophet Ibrahim.

He noted that the lessons of the season should continue to resonate deeply in the lives of the faithful, urging Muslims to uphold the virtues of faith, humility, and compassion not only during the festival but in their daily interactions with others.
“As we celebrate this blessed occasion, I encourage our Muslim brothers and sisters to remain steadfast in their devotion to Allah and to let the spirit of sacrifice guide their relationship with the Creator and with fellow human beings.”

Hon. Asukuna further called for prayers for peace, stability, and progress in Ibadan North West, Ibadan South West, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large, stressing that collective spiritual reflection and unity remain essential for national development.
He wishes the Muslim Ummah a joyful and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration, praying that the blessings of the season bring harmony, prosperity, and renewed hope to all families and communities.
