For over 7 long years, our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has remained in opposition in Oyo State. We have endured the disappointment of losing two consecutive governorship elections. While we have every right to reflect on external factors, we must also summon the courage to confront the uncomfortable truth, meaningful victories begin with honest self-examination.

History does not reward those who make excuses; it rewards those who learn, adapt, unite, and fight with renewed purpose. If we fail to honestly assess the mistakes that brought us here, we risk repeating them. The greatest danger before us is not defeat itself, it is becoming comfortable with defeat.
we have paid a heavy price for these electoral losses. Opportunities that should have empowered our generation have slipped away. Many committed young party faithful have remained on the sidelines despite years of sacrifice, loyalty, and dedication. Our voices have too often been divided when they should have been united. Our energy has sometimes been spent fighting ourselves instead of strengthening our party. We cannot continue on this path.

The future of the APC in Oyo State cannot be built on bitterness, personal ambitions, or endless internal divisions. It must be built on unity, discipline, selflessness, and collective purpose. Every Youth stakeholders, Youth and every loyal party member must understand that no individual is bigger than the party. Personal interests must never outweigh the collective dream of reclaiming Oyo State.

The 2027 general election is not as distant as it appears. Elections are not won during campaigns alone; they are won through years of strategic planning, grassroots mobilization, sincere reconciliation, and unwavering commitment. The work begins now not tomorrow.

As the youth of our great party, we must become the driving force behind a new APC in Oyo State. We must reconnect with our communities, inspire confidence among voters, embrace progressive ideas, strengthen our grassroots structures, and rebuild the trust of the people through humility, service, and purposeful engagement.

This is not the time to apportion blame. It is the time to accept responsibility. It is not the time for factions. It is the time for family. It is not the time to dwell on yesterday’s disappointments. It is the time to prepare for tomorrow’s victory.
Let history remember this generation of APC youths not as those who inherited defeat, but as those who united to restore hope, rebuild our party, and reclaim Oyo State.

Our resolve must be stronger than our setbacks. Our unity must be greater than our differences. Our determination must outweigh every obstacle before us.

The road to victory in 2027 starts today. It starts with each one of us.Let us rise together. Let us organize together. Let us work together. Let us speak with one voice. Let us stand as one family.

The future of the APC in Oyo State is in our hands. If we fail to act now, history will judge us. But if we unite with courage, discipline, and determination, victory will not only be possible, it will be inevitable.

Together, we will reclaim Oyo State. Together, we will restore hope. Together, we will win in 2027.
