The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the 2027 general election, Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola-Alao, has commenced a thank you and consultation tour across the constituency as part of efforts to consolidate support ahead of the next general election.

‎The consultation, which began with visits to Wards 6, 9, 10, 11 and 12, witnessed a large turnout of party faithful, stakeholders and community leaders who welcomed the APC candidate and reaffirmed their commitment to returning the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat to the party in 2027.

‎Speaking during the visits, Arisekola Alao expressed appreciation to party members for the confidence reposed in him and called for sustained unity and grassroots mobilisation to secure victory for the APC. He assured the party faithful that, if elected, he would provide responsive representation built on effective legislation, empowerment, youth development and constituency-focused projects. He noted that the consultation tour was aimed at strengthening relationships with party members and ensuring that every ward remains fully engaged in the collective task of reclaiming the seat for the APC.

Responding on behalf of party members in the various wards, the Chairmen and Secretaries pledged their total support for Umar Farouk’s candidacy, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver quality representation. They assured him of their readiness to mobilise party faithful and residents across the constituency to ensure that the APC emerges victorious in the 2027 House of Representatives election.

‎Among the party leaders who participated were Apex Leader, Baba Omilabu Ghandi, Alhaja Lade, Baba Ishola, Hon. Ogunsakin, Hon. Esinlokun, Comrade Suaib, Chairman Mr. Adio, Hon. Modinat, Hon. Oyekanmi Fatai, Hon. Peter, and several other party stakeholders, all of whom urged members to remain united in pursuit of electoral success.

‎The consultation and thank you tour would continue next week across the remaining wards in Ibadan North Federal Constituency as preparations intensify for the 2027 general election.
