Arisekola Alao Celebrates Former CCII President-General, Chief Bayo Oyero on Birthday
Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State and APC candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat in the forthcoming general election, has extended warm birthday felicitations to former President-General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), Chief Bayo Oyero.

In a statement made available to the media, Arisekola Alao described Chief Oyero as a respected elder statesman and distinguished Ibadan leader whose contributions to the preservation, unity, and advancement of Ibadanland remain commendable.


He noted that Chief Oyero’s tenure as President-General of the CCII reflected purposeful leadership, cultural commitment, and dedication to the collective interests of Ibadan indigenes both at home and in the diaspora.
“Chief Bayo Oyero remains a respected figure whose contributions to the growth and development of Ibadanland continue to inspire many. His leadership within the CCII and his commitment to the progress of our people are worthy of recognition and appreciation.”

Arisekola Alao further commended the celebrant’s role in promoting unity and strengthening the cultural and socio-political identity of Ibadanland, describing him as a man of wisdom and enduring influence.
“As he marks another year, I join family, friends, associates, and the entire Ibadan community in celebrating Chief Bayo Oyero. I pray that Almighty Allah grants him continued good health, peace, strength, and many more fruitful years in service to humanity and Ibadanland.”
