Oyo 2027: APC Disowns Purported Primary Results, Urges Members to Await Official List
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed reports circulating on various platforms purporting to announce the outcome of its recently concluded party primaries, stating that no official list of successful candidates has been released.

In a public notice issued on Saturday, June 27, 2026, the party clarified that any publication or report claiming to contain the names of successful candidates is false, unauthorized, and should be disregarded.

The notice, signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, emphasized that the party has yet to officially announce the outcome of the primaries through its recognized communication channels.
According to the party, successful candidates will be duly notified through official APC channels before Certificates of Return are issued in line with established procedures.

”The public is therefore advised to disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorized,” the notice stated.
The APC also urged its members, stakeholders, and the general public to rely solely on official communications from the party for credible information regarding the primary election process and the emergence of candidates.
The clarification comes amid widespread circulation of unofficial lists on social media and other platforms following the conduct of the party’s primaries in several states.
The party reaffirmed its commitment to transparency and due process, assuring members that all official announcements would be made through the appropriate channels.
