IBADAN NORTH 2027: Arisekola Alao Hails Sportsmanship of Fellow Aspirants, Calls for United APC Front in Ibadan North
Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State and APC candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency seat in the forthcoming general election, has expressed appreciation to party leaders, delegates, stakeholders, and supporters for the confidence reposed in him during the party’s primary process.

In a statement made available to the media, Arisekola Alao described his emergence as the APC candidate as a collective victory for the party and its members across Ibadan North, noting that the outcome reflects the trust and belief of party faithful in his vision for inclusive representation and grassroots-driven leadership.


He particularly appreciated the maturity, unity, and sportsmanship displayed by fellow aspirants before, during, and after the primary process, describing their conduct as a reflection of the progressive ideals and internal strength of the APC in Ibadan North.
“I sincerely appreciate the leadership of our great party, leaders, stakeholders, youths, women, and supporters across Ibadan North Federal Constituency for the confidence and support extended to me throughout this process. I do not take this trust for granted.”

The APC candidate called on party members and stakeholders across all wards in the constituency to close ranks and work together towards reclaiming the federal constituency seat from the opposition in the coming general election.
