Arisekola Alao Congratulates Chief Joseph Tegbe on Swearing-In as Minister of Power

Hon. Umar Farouk Arisekola Alao, APC candidate for Ibadan North Federal Constituency and former Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Oyo State, has congratulated Chief Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe following his swearing-in as Minister of Power by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

‎In a statement, Arisekola Alao described the appointment and inauguration of Chief Tegbe as a well-deserved recognition of his competence, experience, and longstanding commitment to national development.


He noted that Chief Tegbe’s track record in both the public and private sectors, coupled with his dedication to service, has adequately prepared him for the important responsibility of overseeing a critical sector of the nation’s economy.

“Chief Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe’s swearing-in as Minister of Power is a fitting recognition of his capacity, professionalism, and commitment to the progress of our country. His wealth of experience and leadership qualities will undoubtedly be valuable in advancing the objectives of the power sector.”

Arisekola Alao expressed confidence in the ability of the new Minister to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing efforts of the Federal Government towards improving electricity supply and strengthening the nation’s infrastructure under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu.

He further commended President Tinubu for entrusting the strategic ministry to a seasoned technocrat and administrator, noting that the appointment reflects the administration’s commitment to placing capable hands in positions of national responsibility.
