‎Minister of Power: Chief Tegbe’s Appointment a Round Peg in a Round Hole — AWA

Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has congratulated Chief Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on his swearing-in as Nigeria’s Minister of Power by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

AWA described the appointment and inauguration of Chief Tegbe as a well-deserved recognition of his competence, vast professional experience, and proven capacity for leadership, noting that his emergence further reflects the President’s commitment to placing capable hands in strategic positions of national importance.

‎”Chief Joseph Tegbe’s appointment is a classic case of a round peg in a round hole. His wealth of experience, managerial competence, and deep understanding of governance and development issues make him eminently qualified for the enormous responsibility of leading the Ministry of Power at this critical period in our nation’s history.”

‎The APC chieftain expressed confidence that the new Minister would bring innovation, strategic thinking, and result-oriented leadership to the sector, thereby supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and accelerating efforts aimed at improving power generation, transmission, and distribution across the country.

AWA further noted that Chief Tegbe’s appointment has been widely welcomed by stakeholders within and outside Oyo State, describing it as a source of pride to the people of the state and a testament to the quality of leadership talents that Oyo continues to contribute to national development.

‎He prayed for wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for the Minister as he assumes office, expressing optimism that his tenure would positively impact the lives of Nigerians and contribute significantly to the country’s economic growth and industrial development.
