‎Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has joined the family, political associates, and residents of Oyo State in commemorating the 6th year anniversary of the passing of the late Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

‎AWA described the late governor as a visionary leader, father figure, and mentor whose legacy continues to shape governance and political leadership in Oyo State and beyond. He noted that Senator Ajimobi stood out as a disciplined administrator who governed with courage, conviction, and a clear sense of purpose.

‎He further described the late governor as a giant of Nigerian democracy who served with distinction, leaving behind a record of impactful governance, infrastructural development, and political stability during his tenure as governor of Oyo State.

“Sen. Abiola Ajimobi was not just a politician, but a statesman whose leadership reflected vision, discipline, and commitment to public service. He remains a source of inspiration to many of us who are committed to progressive governance and responsible leadership.”

‎AWA also expressed profound appreciation to the matriarch of the Ajimobi family, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, for her unwavering strength, grace, and commitment in preserving and nurturing the legacy of the late leader, ensuring that his values, vision, and contributions to Oyo State and Nigeria remain alive and relevant.

AWA prayed for the continued repose of the soul of the late governor and extended his condolences to the Ajimobi family, political associates, and the people of Oyo State, noting that his legacy remains a guiding light for present and future leaders.
