Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Oyo State Government, and the nation’s security agencies for the successful rescue of the pupils and teachers abducted in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

‎In a statement, the APC chieftain praised the coordinated efforts of the Armed Forces, the Department of State Services (DSS), the Nigeria Police Force, and other security and intelligence agencies whose sustained operations culminated in the successful rescue of the victims after weeks in captivity.

‎“The successful rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers is heartwarming and reassuring. I congratulate President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Oyo State Government, our gallant security agencies, and everyone who played a role in bringing this difficult episode to a successful conclusion. The rescue of the victims, the arrest of eight suspected kidnappers, and the neutralisation of members of the criminal gang demonstrate what can be achieved through coordinated intelligence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to protecting the lives of Nigerians.”

‎He expressed sympathy to the pupils, teachers, and their families for the traumatic experience they endured, while praying that Almighty God would grant them complete healing, comfort, and strength as they recover from the ordeal.
