Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District seat under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the nation’s security agencies for the successful rescue of the abducted pupils and teachers of Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

AWA described the development as a moment of relief and thanksgiving for the affected families, the people of Oyo State, and Nigerians at large, applauding the commitment, courage, and professionalism displayed by the military, the Department of State Services (DSS), and the police in securing the safe return of the victims.

‎He noted that the successful operation, which followed weeks of coordinated intelligence and security efforts, demonstrates the importance of effective collaboration among security agencies and all levels of government in tackling threats to the safety of citizens.

“The safe rescue of the Oriire pupils and teachers is a welcome development that has brought relief and renewed hope to many families. I commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his leadership and the security agencies for their dedication and sacrifice in ensuring that these children and their teachers return safely to their loved ones.”

The APC chieftain also commended the Oyo State Government for its cooperation and support throughout the rescue efforts, while urging continued strengthening of security measures around schools and communities across the state.
