Dr. Ademola Wasiu Alli (AWA), chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and aspirant for the Oyo Central Senatorial District seat, has been appointed as a member of the APC National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Osun State Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday, August 15, 2026. He was named a member of the Special Interest (PWD) Mobilisation Committee constituted by the National Working Committee (NWC) of the party.

‎The appointment is widely regarded by party stakeholders as a significant recognition of AWA’s loyalty, leadership qualities, grassroots mobilization capacity, and unwavering commitment to the ideals and growth of the APC. It also reflects the confidence reposed in him by the national leadership of the party to contribute meaningfully to one of its strategic electoral assignments.
