Agbaje Celebrates Teachers, Calls for Better Welfare, Improved Learning Facilities
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and frontline 2027 gubernatorial aspirant, Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, Esq., has celebrated teachers across Oyo State and Nigeria for their contributions to education and nation-building on the occasion of the 2026 Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) Day.
Agbaje, in a message commemorating the occasion, described teachers as men and women who shape minds, build character and help prepare younger generations for the future, noting that their work extends beyond the classroom.
“Our teachers play an important role in shaping the minds and character of our children and preparing them for the future. Today, we celebrate the men and women who continue to give their time, knowledge and energy to this important responsibility.”
The APC chieftain called for sustained attention to the welfare of teachers and improvement of learning facilities across schools, noting that better conditions would enable teachers to discharge their responsibilities more effectively and create a better learning environment for pupils and students.
